Smiffys Childrens Elf Costume

Christmas elves first started to appear in the 19th century, being depicted as little helpers to Santa Claus in his workshop. Now a common sight at this festive time of the year, these small fairytale creatures have become popular fancy dress characters for children and adults alike.

Starting your child’s transformation into a delightful Christmas elf is a vibrant and colourful red tunic with coordinating green trim on the cuffs and neckline. To add some extra detail to this festive outfit, the tunic features gold button detailing down the front, fake bells on the hemline and an attached brown belt with gold buckle in the centre. Velcro fastenings have been used down the front of the tunic for comfort and ease.

Contrasting against the red tunic is a pair of green trousers with red trim on the trouser legs. The trousers have an elasticated waistband, giving your little one plenty of room for when they’ve eaten just a little bit too much Christmas dinner.
